Petitioner

Petitioners are critical volunteers. They are the front line troops who put Kevin on the ballot. And once Kevin is on the ballot, the establishment can not ignore him.

Between the start of September and the end of November 2025, we will gather petition signatures to get Kevin on the ballot. By law, he only needs 3,250 signatures from registered voters in Illinois. But to protect itself, the Democratic establishment often challenges these signatures to deny ballot access to challengers. So, we will aim to get the maximum allowable signatures of 6,500. Why is there a maximum? We do not know. But it probably has something to do with limiting the number of signatures that need to be challenged to deny ballot access—democracy in action!
